Dr. Lila Nabi
Principal Dentist
Dr. Lila Nabi grew up on the North Shore. She pursued her Bachelor of Sciences (B.Sc) and subsequently Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD) at the University of British Columbia. Having had braces as a teenager and frequent nerve-racking dental experiences herself, she decided to overcome her past fears and serve the dental demands of the public in a compassionate and professional manner. Dr. Nabi has been actively involved in various study clubs, volunteer events, and continuing education courses in order to maintain a firm connection with the public and the dental community.
Dr. Nabi has been a member of the following dental organizations; AACA, CACD, BCDA, CDA, BCDS, and KIA. She has completed extensive continuing education courses at the world-renowned Kois Centre in Seattle, Washington, Oral Surgery Externship program at Loma Linda University, LA. She has also participated in over 200 hours of continuing education at the Spear Centre in Pheonix, Arizona led by Dr. Frank Spear. Dr. Nabi is active in an ongoing Implantology Study Club in Vancouver. Dr. Nabi’s involvement in these highly prestigious educational programs has allowed her to treatment plan and manage complex full mouth reconstructive cases with ease. Her commitment to patient-centered care is evident in her detail-oriented and progressive approach to dental and oral health. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is particularly interested in seeing families grow alongside her practice.
She feels fortunate to be have been involved in a gratifying “Kindness In Action” volunteer trip with a team of dentists in South America to help children in orphanages with their dental needs.
Dr. Nabi has practiced dentistry in North Burnaby, downtown Vancouver, Kitsilano, and Richmond. She is happy to return to the North Shore to serve her hometown. She is extremely excited to introduce a fresh and exciting state-of-the-art dental office to her community. Dr. Nabi’s goal is to provide her community with a lifetime of excellence in oral health care and beautiful smiles.
Dr. Nabi is an avid believer of life balance. She enjoys extracurricular activities which include hiking, running, cycling, skiing, swimming, tennis, and volleyball. She also loves to travel, explore and take part in new adventures and on those lazy days curl up with a good book to read. She is a proud mother of two boys.
Dr. Marie-Louise Carberry
Associate Dentist
Dr. Carberry is originally from the United States. She attended the University of Michigan to pursue Pre-Dental studies and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish Literature. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the New York University, subsequently practicing dentistry in the greater Philadelphia area. Dr. Carberry is a current member of the American Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association, and BC Dental Associations and attends several continuing education courses to further her knowledge in the field.
Dr. Carberry enjoys treating children of all ages, making sure to teach them about the importance of caring for their teeth. She is kind, friendly, and strives to develop a trusting rapport with her patients. In addition, she is especially sensitive to any nerves that may be associated with a visit to the dentist and is dedicated to making her patients feel comfortable while in her care.
Having relocated to Vancouver in December of 2015, Dr. Carberry could not be happier in her new city. She loves music and dancing, traveling, hikes, biking, and going to the beach.

Megan
Office Manager
Megan has honed her skills in all aspects of dentistry. Starting over 20 years ago as a dental receptionist, then quickly obtaining her diploma as a Certified Dental Assistant. She has worked alongside many of the top prosthodontists in Greater Vancouver who helped her develop a wide set of skills and expertise. Megan is currently very pleased to be office managing Town Centre Dental. She enjoys making your dental experience as easy and comfortable as possible. Megan grew up on the North Shore in Lynn Valley. Currently living downtown where she raises her two sons. During her free time, she practices yoga, enjoys outdoor sports, and traveling to warm sunny destinations.
Jenaya
Reception
Born and raised in beautiful central BC, Jenaya now calls Vancouver home. She is a graduate of the Capilano University Musical Theatre Program and enjoys any and all forms of creative expression. She has been on the stage with many theatre companies, both here in Vancouver and in Toronto, and has released her own self-produced and self-written album. She loves the team-based community and outstanding care for the patients that are at the heart of Town Centre Dental. A coffee enthusiast and mother to many plants, she is thrilled to be a part of the Town Centre Team.
Yoo Ri
Receptionist
Yoo Ri was born in Korea, moved to Vancouver at the age of 11. She grew up in Lynn Valley, went to Eastview elementary school and graduated from Sutherland Secondary. After studying English Literature and Mathematics at Simon Fraser University, she went to BCIT for Dental Receptionist program.
Yoo Ri enjoys meeting new people and loves helping patients. Working at Town Centre Dental has given her lots of great experiences. Outside the working hours, she loves both indoor and outdoor activities. Loves to snowboard and rock climb. At her free time, she enjoys watching movies and hanging out with friends. Every year, she plans to travel abroad to explore the world.
Shannon
Hygienist
Shannon is originally from Ontario, Canada. She graduated in 2014 with honours from Southern Ontario Dental College. She had practiced for nearly seven years with one office building strong rapport with her clients. In 2021, she relocated to Vancouver to take on new adventures in both life and work. She enjoys being a part of the TCDC team.
She enjoys educating her patients to allow them to feel in control of their oral health. Shannon enjoys hiking, paddle boarding, snowboarding and spending time with friends.
Oxana
Hygienist
Oxana adores living in North Vancouver for its closeness and connection to the ocean and the mountains and thrives when enclosed in nature. She also enjoys spending her spare time swimming, paddleboarding, hiking with her Wheaten Terrier, cuddling with her ginger tabby cat while the two of them curl up for a good read, as well as taking care of herself and her daughter. She loves the experience of VSO concerts every so often.
Oxana deeply values the importance of preventative dentistry and is very devoted to helping people better understand the connection between oral and overall health along with keeping their teeth healthy and sparkling clean!
Adrienne
CDA
Adrienne completed the Certified Dental Assistant program in 2017 and has also completed the Dental Reception program in 2016, both from Vancouver Community College. Although very quiet, she is a proud introvert and loves helping patients with their dental health needs. She likes spending time with her boyfriend and plays video games in her spare time.
What she loves about working in Town Centre Dental is the amazing people she works with. She thinks all of our patients are very nice and friendly and the staff is like a second family to her! “We get along very well and we help each other out whenever we can! Being surrounded with positive people is the reason why its given me the happiness to continue doing what I love!”
Lovely
Dental Assistant
Lovely graduated with a Bachelor of Science in nursing in the Philippines in 2008. Before moving to Canada, lovely worked in sales and customer service. In 2017 she relocated to Canada and worked as a child care provider and housekeeper until joining our practice in May 2021.
She is an integral team member who keeps the office moving smoothly day in and day out. Her hobbies are playing badminton, volleyball, going shopping and enjoying nice dinners with her husband! She is an active participant in the Filipino community and enjoys taking part in their events!
Ida
Dental Assistant
Ida was born and raised in the Philippines. She studied BS Nursing and Healthcare Assistant (Caregiver) in her home town back home. And just recently finished Medical Office Assistant program at Cambria College. She has been working abroad for over 18 years. She lived and worked in Greece and Italy and moved to Vancouver, Canada in 2016 as a compassionate caregiver for children as she has a heart for kids.
As time flies, the door opened a new opportunity for her to work at a dental clinic. She started working at TCDC since October 2019 as a part time sterilization technician/dental assistant. It’s been such a great experience learning new skills and interesting things in the dental field. Meeting new people/patients and provide quality service for them is a big factor for her to boost her confidence as she is shy natured person. Also, she loves being a part of a team of great people which she finds motivating and looks forward to her next shift.
During her free-time, she enjoys the outdoors, hiking, running and driving around find nice coffee shops. She also loves to travel and experience different cultures and try different cuisines.
